About Laura Zdan
As a parent to 3; ages 8-14 all with varying abilities, Laura has a wealth of emotional, practical and lived experience both working with and raising neurodivergent children all 3 of which are on the spectrum, with different comorbid conditions including ADHD, DCD/Dyspraxia, Anxiety, Epilepsy, Developmental Delay, and a Language Disorders.
She is also a successful Coach working with individuals and families to champion their personal and professional goals.
Laura is passionate about neurodiversity, self-acceptance, understanding and celebrating all neurotypes, and helping families accept the challenges and abilities for each member. Her goal is to help families make beautiful music together. Her goal is to accent the importance of each individual member finding their own melody and reaffirming the importance of the “family unit” after periods of stress to create harmony together and find hope once again.
Diagnosed as a child with ADHD and diagnosed autistic at age 34 herself, she is now committed to the empowerment, support, and education of:
Neurodivergent/ late diagnosed adults on the spectrum.
Neurodivergent families or parents of neurodivergent kids experiencing social, emotional and/or behavioral challenges.
Family dynamic management relating to the realization a parent or children (or both) received a diagnosis, has differences/a disability, or challenges associated with different brain neurotypes.
